2024 Ford Bronco Sport Trims
The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport comes in five primary trim levels: Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, Outer Banks, and Badlands. All trims except the Badlands feature a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that delivers 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine on the Badlands garners 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Each engine mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission for a smooth drive.
The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport has a standard all-wheel-drive system to provide the traction and control drivers desire over various surfaces. Ford’s terrain management system is standard across trims. The Goes Over Any Type of Terrain (G.O.A.T.) Modes adjust transmission shift points, throttle response, traction and stability control levels, and antilock braking and all-wheel-drive system combinations to maximize the available traction. Each Bronco Sport configuration offers notable features to appeal to diverse needs.
Big Bend
The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport’s base trim has configurable daytime running lamps, heated exterior mirrors, roof rails, a rear liftgate with a flip-up window and lighting, and 17-inch wheels. Standard interior features include the following:
- Keyless entry and ignition.
- Automatic climate control.
- Stain-resistant cloth upholstery.
- A rubberized cargo floor.
- A rear fold-down center armrest with built-in cupholders.
The entertainment system includes a six-speaker audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, satellite radio, and an 8-inch touch screen. The five G.O.A.T. Modes on the Big Bend include Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand.
For further upgrades, the Convenience Package adds LED fog lights, heated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, rear parking sensors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging, and a universal garage door opener. Drivers can also opt for the Black Appearance Package, which gives the Big Bend a blacked-out exterior with a Carbon Black two-tone grille, a Shadow Black roof, exterior badging, hood graphics, and 17-inch Matte Black wheels.
Heritage
The Heritage trim builds off the base trim and adds a white grille with red “Bronco” lettering, a white roof, LED fog lights, and white-painted wheels with all-terrain tires. Upon opening the door, drivers will discover a white interior trim on the dashboard and door panels, plaid cloth upholstery, and a synthetic suede armrest with red stitching. The Heritage also features a standard Class II Trailer Tow package with trailer sway control, which drivers can add to the other Ford Bronco Sport trims.
Free Wheeling
With a 1980s-inspired retro feel, the Free Wheeling trim offers bright red, yellow, and orange graphics on the hood and sides for a unique appearance. Its 17-inch black wheels with red pockets will turn heads in the parking lot. The Free Wheeling also features five color seat inserts with multicolor stitching, a unique center console badge, and red dashboard and door accents.
Outer Banks
The Outer Banks provides a comfortable ride. Standard features include rain-sensing windshield wipers, remote engine start, and 18-inch wheels. The interior design ensures comfort and convenience with leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and power-adjustable front seats with driver’s seat memory settings, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a household power outlet. This trim has a 6.5-inch digital instrument display, interior ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and cargo pockets on the seatbacks with MOLLE cargo straps.
Drivers can upgrade the Outer Banks with the optional Tech Package that features an HD radio, a wireless charging pad, a universal garage door opener, and a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system. The Black Diamond Off-Road Package is available on the Outer Banks and Big Bend to add unique graphics, underbody skid plates, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Badlands
For off-road adventures, drivers should select the Badlands trim level. It has an off-road-optimized suspension with all-terrain tires, underbody skid plates, front tow hooks, and an upgraded four-wheel-drive system with a special rear differential. It also has two additional G.O.A.T. Modes for off-road riding: Rock Crawl and Mud/Ruts. A forward-facing 180-degree camera and trail control make off-roading more fun. Inside features include the following:
- A rubberized floor for efficient clean-up.
- Heated front seats.
- A household power outlet.
- A power-adjustable driver’s seat.
- An upgraded driver information display.
- Rear-seat underfloor storage on the passenger side.
The Premium Package is exclusive to the Badlands trim. It adds a heated steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a power-adjustable passenger seat, leather-trimmed upholstery, wireless charging, rear parking sensors, and a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
